At first, thank you all for your ace captions. It was really hard for the judges to name only one winner. Finally we decided for @splattermac to be the lucky one because his caption ignores the issue of the stocking altogether, as though it was normal. @wadeyjon’s "ladder joke" made it on second place but to be honest it is my favourite caption of this contest. Finally, the judges loved the idea of somebody thinking Buzz Aldrin is Buzz Lightyear like in @downatheel’s caption. A real astronaut for Christmas, that's funny, isn’t it? And last but not least we won’t forget that it was a tweet written by @MelodyMetcalf which has caused this Festive Caption Contest. Thank you, Mel.
